This position is responsible for using appropriate tools to sand furniture.
Will be required to read production tickets on the pieces of furniture being sanded
Manually sands wood furniture and frames using various jigs and tools developed for sanding
Repairs minor defects in the wood using appropriate tools and materials
Must follow all safety policies and procedures
Works as part of a team to meet or exceed production goals
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous sanding experience a plus

Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks
While standing, position will require bending, squatting, kneeling and twisting

Frequently lifting/carrying objects up to 25 lbs.; occasionally lifting/carrying objects up to 50 lbs.
