The Furniture Inspector is responsible for examining furniture for defects in finish, construction, and upholstery to ensure manufacturing standards are met. They must also document rejects, mark defects for repair, and perform minor adjustments to products.
Candidates should have previous quality control or inspection experience in a manufacturing environment. The role requires the physical ability to stand for 8-10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs, along with strong attention to detail.
