The Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacy workflow activities and foundational dispensing. They are responsible for compounding both hazardous and non-hazardous sterile products.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma, GED, or be currently enrolled in an equivalent program. Registration with the NC Board of Pharmacy is required within 30 days of hire.
Pharmacy Technicians are a foundation of the pharmacy department and drive many of the workflow activities. The expectations are to support the mission, vision, and core values of ECU Health and the pharmacy department by providing not only foundational dispensing activities but also compounding hazardous and/or non-hazardous sterile products.
Minimum RequirementsMust have High School Diploma, GED, or higher or be enrolled in a program that leads towards a diploma or equivalent
Must register with NC Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire
