We support clients with daily reporting, materials testing coordination, schedule tracking, and quality assurance oversight. Additional services include project management, grants management for federally funded infrastructure and disaster recovery programs.
About the Role:
The Amtrak Construction Manager plays a critical role in overseeing and directing large-scale rail infrastructure projects across the United States. This position is responsible for ensuring that construction activities are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory and quality standards. The Construction Manager will coordinate with multiple stakeholders including engineers, contractors, government agencies, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project execution. They will lead efforts to manage resources, mitigate risks, and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process. Ultimately, this role ensures the successful delivery of infrastructure improvements that enhance the safety, reliability, and efficiency of Amtrak’s rail network.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience managing large-scale construction projects, preferably in rail or transportation infrastructure.
Proven knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations applicable to rail infrastructure.
Strong project management skills, including experience with scheduling software and budget management.
Ability to obtain and maintain any required security clearances or certifications relevant to rail operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
