Responsibilities

The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for supervising and coordinating the maintenance process for all facility assets to maximize efficiency and safety. This includes managing routine schedules, coordinating with operations, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma and over 10 years of related experience in maintenance or operations, preferably within the petroleum industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and certifications in First Aid and Safety Training are required.

We own and operate a diversified global network of integrated assets providing midstream logistic solutions, primarily consisting of the transportation, storage, processing, and marketing of liquid petroleum products. We are committed to safely and responsibly providing world-class service to meet the continually evolving energy needs of our customers and the communities we serve. As part of this commitment to our customers, we are continually diversifying our platform and service offerings to enable less carbon intensive energy solutions, and undertaking decarbonization efforts on our operations.

Role Summary:
 

  • Responsible for supervising, organizing, directing, and coordinating the Maintenance Process for all facility assets and to maximize efficiency and effectiveness and to ensure a safe working environment.

Responsibilities & Essential Functions include:

  • Manages all routine maintenance scheduling for the facility, including issuing multi-week
    schedules, analyzing resource requirements, measuring schedule compliance, coordinating
    schedule needs with process, updating and reporting progress, and compiling periodic metrics
    reports.
  • Meet daily with the Operations group to ensure availability of equipment and resources needed
    for maintenance completion.
  • Verifies the accuracy and completeness of work orders.
  • Ensures the appropriate priority is assigned to work orders.
  • Ensures the requested work creates value relative to the current business environment
  • Plan and organize facility downtime, startup and commissioning with Operations, Maintenance
    and other appropriate Functional Departments.
  • Ensure completion of planned maintenance inspection items, equipment tagging, device
    settings, and Completion Certificates.
  • Continually review notifications and work order backlogs to ensure jobs are on the daily and
    weekly Maintenance schedule in a timely fashion such that regulatory and safety requirements
    are maintained and reliability of the unit is not jeopardized.
  • Ensures all necessary reliability data has been entered.
  • Participate in Engineering and Maintenance backlog reviews and prioritization.
  • Participating in the development and adherence to maintenance schedules by maintaining
    prioritized list of jobs
  • Review preliminary schedules to ensure they meet the needs of the process units and are in line
    with the maintenance budget.
  • Acts as liaison between operations and maintenance groups on any problems adhering to the
    schedule.
  • Assure safe operations by insisting on subordinate compliance with company safety and training
    policies and reviewing job safety analysis submitted by the maintenance group.
  • Prepare authorization to work for maintenance group, contractors and other applicable parties.
  • And other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 10+ years related experience in maintenance or operations.
  • General knowledge or experience in the petroleum industry.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office (especially Excel) is required.

Certificates & Licenses:

  • First Aid and Safety Training
  • Other Skills, Attributes and Abilities:
  • Since this position includes contact with numerous operational staff, excellent communication skills are required in order to be successful in this position.
  • This position requires someone who can work well under pressure and can handle multiple tasks
    at once.
  • Excellent organizational, quantitative and analytical skills are also critical to be successful in this
    position. This position required someone who has the ability to visualize inventory while
    considering client needs, weather conditions, product shortages, competitor’s actions, etc.
    Essential Functions:
  • This position requires the ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions
    consistent with HSSE guidelines, and local regulatory requirements
  • This role requires the ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the
    current HR policies.
  • This position requires compliance with all personnel policies.
    Physical & Safety Requirements:
  • This person must perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and
    moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of
    materials.
  • Position may require exposure to adverse weather conditions, hazardous environments and
    require the physical stamina to climb tanks, work long hours in the field and wear a respirator.
  • Required use of all safety equipment in performance of job.
