The Transportation Coordinator manages daily inbound and outbound freight movements, including scheduling and dispatching drivers to maximize fleet utilization. They are also responsible for monitoring shipment activity, ensuring DOT compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet delivery commitments.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a working knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service requirements are required.

The Transportation Coordinator supports the Transportation Manager in the daily operations of the transportation department by coordinating inbound and outbound freight movements, maximizing fleet utilization, and ensuring exceptional service to both internal and external customers. This role is responsible for scheduling and dispatching drivers, monitoring shipment activity, maintaining transportation compliance, collaborating with supply chain partners, and proactively resolving transportation-related issues to support operational excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
Base Pay Rate: $63,000 - $68,000 annually commensurate with skills and experience.
