The Recovery Support Specialist provides direct care and therapeutic milieu coverage for women with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. Key duties include monitoring medication self-administration, facilitating client groups, and maintaining a safe residential environment.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to obtain CPR certification and TB screening. Experience in addiction or mental health is preferred, along with the ability to work with diverse populations.

The Recovery Support Specialist supports the program by ensuring that quality direct care services are provided to the clients. The Recovery Support Specialist reports to the Program Director for regular supervision and assignments.
Location: Women's Hope in Jamaica Plain, provides residential treatment programs for 16 women with co-occurring substance use disorder and mental health. The program is up to a year long and provides enhanced services for the residents with complex mental health concerns, as well as chronic health conditions.
Position Type: Full-time (40 hours) Monday - Friday 3pm-11pm. On site.
Rate: $22.28/hr

Victory Programs offers a generous paid time off package to all employees including vacation, sick, and personal time as well as holidays. Upon hire, all staff are entitled to up to: 4 personal days, 160 sick hours, 10 holidays and 3 1/2 weeks of vacation. These figures adjust based on full time or part time status and allocated vacation time increases with length of employment.
