Requires a high school diploma or GED and 1-3 years of machining or manufacturing experience. Candidates should be able to read basic drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
The Manual Machinist I performs basic machining operations and assists with machine setups to produce aviation components that meet dimensional and quality specifications. This position continues to develop machining skills while supporting production activities.
