This role focuses on bringing suppliers and stakeholder teams through change, enabling adoption of simplified, standardized, and increasingly automated processes. It establishes how Micron engages suppliers at scale while ensuring engagement approaches reflect the varied needs, expectations, and maturity levels of suppliers across regions and segments.
Serving as the strategic integrator across Supplier Performance and Relationship Management (SPRM), Autonomous Sourcing (AS), Global & Regional execution teams, this role translates transformation objectives into scalable engagement models, enablement frameworks, and adoption strategies that drive measurable outcomes and advancing Micron’s vision of becoming a Customer of Choice.
Define and own the enterprise strategy for supplier engagement and enablement across SPRM, Autonomous Sourcing, and regional ecosystem initiatives, including New York.
Design, own, and govern scalable supplier onboarding, engagement, and enablement frameworks that support supplier readiness across the lifecycle, including onboarding, training, communications, and ongoing interaction models across global, regional, local, and tail-spend supplier segments.
Ensure supplier engagement and enablement strategies align with procurement transformation priorities, operating model design, and long-term business objectives.
Partner with PMs, Procurement, IT, Product, GPA, Legal, and regional teams to embed supplier enablement into program design from the outset.
2. Adoption, Change, and Stakeholder Enablement
Define and drive strategies to enable adoption of new tools, processes, and ways of working across vendor and internal partner teams
Ensure internal teams interacting with suppliers are equipped to reinforce consistent messaging, behaviors, and processes by building structured approaches to track and improve adoption, usage, and behavioral alignment
Design scalable communication and enablement approaches that support global programs with local execution
Ensure suppliers are effectively brought along as Micron simplifies, standardizes, and automates procurement processes
3. Supplier Engagement Model Design & Continuous Improvement
Define a supplier engagement model aligned to the company's tone and voice, ensuring consistency in how Micron interacts across its ecosystem
Own Supplier Quarterly Performance Evaluation engagement framework, ensuring a consistent and scalable approach to supplier performance conversations and engagement.
Develop segmented engagement approaches tailored to supplier type, maturity, and regional context
Leverage supplier feedback, sentiment insights, adoption metrics, and experience data to identify friction points, improve supplier experience, simplify interactions, and continuously enhance engagement and enablement strategies.
Partner with program and platform teams to support adoption of digital and automated workflows, ensuring clarity for suppliers and in-house users
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
8+ years of proven experience in procurement, supplier engagement, enablement, or transformation roles
Experience developing and scaling enterprise-level engagement or enablement strategies that move adoption and behavioral change across complex collaborator groups
Experience working across global and regional environments
Strong ability to connect strategy to execution across multiple programs
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or advanced degree
Experience with procurement platforms (e.g., Coupa, SAP Ariba, Oracle, or equivalent)
Experience supporting or leading supplier lifecycle, SRM, or sourcing transformation programs
