This is a hands-on leadership role that combines creative direction, team leadership, and principal-level design execution. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and franchise stakeholders to shape user experiences that are high quality, scalable, and aligned with both player needs and business goals.
You will help define the future of Activision’s digital ecosystem while contributing directly to key initiatives and raising the overall quality and craft of the design organization.

Drive end-to-end UX/UI strategy and execution for high-impact initiatives across web and application experiences.
Operate as both a creative leader and hands-on contributor on complex design initiatives.
Lead, mentor, and support designers through feedback, critiques, coaching, and creative direction.
Establish and maintain high standards for UX quality, visual design, interaction design, accessibility, and design systems.
Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Project Management, and Marketing teams to align creative execution with business and player goals.
Collaborate with senior leadership to define long-term platform and experience strategy.
Help evolve team workflows, collaboration models, and design processes to improve quality and delivery efficiency.
Champion player-centered design practices through research, usability testing, analytics, and iterative design improvements.
Contribute directly to UX architecture, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and design problem solving where needed.
Stay current with trends in digital product design, gaming experiences, interaction design, and emerging technologies.
PLAYER PROFILE
10+ years of experience in UX/UI, product design, or digital creative leadership.
Proven experience leading large-scale digital product experiences across web and mobile platforms.
Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional UX thinking, visual design craft, systems-level problem solving, and hands-on design execution.
Experience leading and mentoring designers and creative teams in fast-paced product organizations.
Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on design contribution and execution.
Deep understanding of UX strategy, interaction design, visual systems, accessibility standards, and modern design workflows.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Product, Engineering, Project Management, and Marketing organizations.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative strategy and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
Experience building scalable digital experiences and contributing to design systems and platform consistency.
