Responsible for installing, programming, and certifying Fire, Security, and Building Automation systems while ensuring projects are delivered within budget and schedule. Acts as the primary technical interface for customers and mentors less-experienced staff to maximize satisfaction.
Requires strong technical experience with electronic security, fire alarm, or building automation systems and the ability to read complex blueprints. Must possess advanced mechanical and electrical aptitude along with proficiency in MS Office.

In this role, you will be responsible for installing, programming, system start-up/check-out, certification, and related customer training on assigned Fire, Security, and/or Building Automation projects including small to large projects that vary in complexity. Also delivers assigned projects effectively and within budgeted cost and time schedules. Acts as key interface for technical support with the customer and maximizes customer satisfaction. May mentor less-experienced staff. As a Security Technician, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.
