Northrop Grumman Corporate Office is seeking a highly qualified candidate for a Sr. Principal Financial Analyst opening in Falls Church, VA.
This position requires a highly motivated self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail. The selected candidate will directly report to the Director of Financial Strategy and job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Provide analytical support for major corporate actions, including capital management decisions, strategic & M&A transactions (including portfolio optimization projects with targeted asset divestitures, bolt-on & large platform transactions).
Involvement in confidential & special projects in support of the executive management team and Board of Directors.
Involvement in long-range strategic/financial planning, setting annual and long term company wide compensation metrics, proxy analysis, performing peer competitive analyses, detailed valuation analyses, and evaluating the position of the company's business portfolio.
Coordination with internal and external parties, including consultants, corporate and sector strategic and financial planners, and other business management functions.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, or related discipline with a minimum of 6 years of experience in finance, or a Master's degree in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of experience in finance.
Perform preliminary and final/detailed valuation analyses
Able to work independently under minimal supervision
Ability to perform complex research, prepare final review materials
Prepare in depth customer presentations and analyze and critique financial statements and investor material
Advanced financial modeling, MS excel and MS PowerPoint skills required.

Primary Level Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
