About Us
Founded in 1988, Marketech International Corp. (MIC) is a global technology and engineering company supporting semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, cleanroom, and mission-critical facility projects. MIC provides turnkey facility integration solutions, including cleanroom and MEP construction, DI water, gas and chemical supply systems, wastewater treatment, facility monitoring and control systems, installation, and maintenance services. Through Marketech International Corporation USA, we support major semiconductor and industrial projects across the United States.
Job Overview
Marketech International Corporation USA is seeking an experienced, hands-on, and safety-focused Maintenance Lead Technician to support and coordinate maintenance, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and operational-support activities within semiconductor and chemical-system environments.
This is a working-lead position responsible for performing technical maintenance activities while providing daily direction and field support to maintenance technicians. The Maintenance Lead Technician will help assign work, coordinate task priorities, verify compliance with safety and maintenance procedures, assist with complex troubleshooting, and ensure assigned work is completed accurately and on schedule.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, previous experience leading technicians or field crews, and the ability to work effectively in semiconductor fabs, cleanrooms, industrial facilities, construction environments, or high-tech manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Daily Coordination
Provide daily technical direction and field support to maintenance technicians and assigned project personnel.
Help coordinate work assignments, preventive-maintenance tasks, corrective-maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, installations, and commissioning work.
Conduct or support shift-start meetings, toolbox talks, pre-task planning, work-area reviews, and safety discussions.
Verify that technicians understand applicable work instructions, procedures, drawings, safety requirements, and task expectations.
Monitor work progress and help ensure assigned activities are completed safely, accurately, and according to schedule.
Serve as the first point of contact for routine field questions, maintenance concerns, and technical issues.
Train and mentor technicians on maintenance procedures, equipment operation, troubleshooting methods, documentation, and safe work practices.
Promote accountability, teamwork, communication, professionalism, and consistent compliance with company and customer requirements.
Provide status updates to supervisors, engineers, project managers, and customer representatives regarding completed work, open issues, equipment concerns, and resource needs.
Maintenance, Inspection & Equipment Support
Lead and perform routine maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair activities for semiconductor equipment, chemical systems, process-support systems, tools, and facility infrastructure.
Perform and coordinate preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, equipment checks, system walkdowns, and condition assessments.
Support pumps, valves, piping, sensors, instrumentation, controls, electrical components, mechanical equipment, and chemical-delivery-related systems.
Identify equipment abnormalities, damaged components, leaks, alarms, unusual operating conditions, and potential safety or reliability concerns.
Perform minor repairs, component replacement, equipment adjustments, parts installation, and operational-verification activities.
Verify that tools, materials, parts, PPE, permits, and supporting documentation are available before work begins.
Help prioritize maintenance activities based on safety, equipment criticality, operational needs, and project schedules.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas in accordance with cleanroom, 5S, and project requirements.
Support equipment reliability and uptime by ensuring assigned maintenance activities are completed accurately and on time.
Installation, Startup & Commissioning
Lead and support equipment installation, startup, commissioning, testing, operational verification, and turnover activities.
Coordinate field verification of equipment, piping, pumps, valves, sensors, electrical components, mechanical systems, and related facility infrastructure.
Support functional testing, leak testing, equipment checks, alarm verification, system readiness reviews, and startup activities.
Review work instructions, equipment documentation, maintenance procedures, technical drawings, P&IDs, checklists, and project requirements.
Identify incomplete installations, damaged materials, incorrect components, unsafe conditions, and deviations from approved documentation.
Coordinate field troubleshooting and corrective actions with technicians, engineers, contractors, vendors, and customer representatives.
Support construction, tool-install, facility expansion, maintenance shutdown, and system-modification activities.
Help track open technical issues, punch-list items, incomplete work, and required corrective actions.
Troubleshooting & Technical Support
Lead troubleshooting activities involving mechanical, electrical, chemical-delivery, facility, and process-support systems.
Safely use hand tools, power tools, meters, diagnostic instruments, testing equipment, and approved maintenance tools.
Guide technicians through inspection, testing, component replacement, adjustment, and operational-verification activities.
Assist with root-cause analysis by collecting equipment history, operating data, alarm information, technician observations, and maintenance records.
Escalate major equipment failures, safety concerns, recurring problems, process abnormalities, and urgent maintenance needs.
Coordinate with supervisors and engineering teams to implement corrective actions and verify that equipment is safe to return to service.
Assist with resolving field issues in a timely, professional, and solution-oriented manner.
Safety, Documentation & Compliance
Follow and reinforce all standard operating procedures, work instructions, lockout/tagout requirements, PPE requirements, cleanroom protocols, and site-specific safety procedures.
Stop or escalate work when unsafe conditions, unclear instructions, uncontrolled hazards, or procedural deviations are identified.
Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, job hazard analyses, inspections, incident reviews, and corrective-action activities.
Review maintenance records, work orders, inspection forms, testing reports, checklists, and shift documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Maintain organized maintenance records, equipment-status updates, work logs, and technical documentation.
Support audits, inspections, customer reviews, and documentation requests as assigned.
Participate in continuous-improvement efforts related to equipment reliability, safety, technician productivity, maintenance processes, and documentation accuracy.
Required Qualifications
