Bilingual Construction Management Associate
Competitive Pay
Benefits- Medical, Dental, Vision, & 401K
Company Overview We are a multifamily property management company overseeing a diverse portfolio of apartment communities. We are seeking an organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Construction Management Associate to support capital projects, property improvements, unit renovations, and maintenance-related construction projects across multiple apartment communities.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in construction project management, multifamily property operations, or facilities coordination and wants to gain hands-on experience in the field.
Position Summary The Construction Management Associate will support the construction and operations teams with vendor coordination, bid collection, project documentation, job cost tracking, invoice organization, and progress updates. This role will include regular travel between apartment communities to meet vendors, take photos, document project status, and help keep projects organized from start to finish.
The ideal candidate does not need to have extensive construction experience but should be organized, dependable, comfortable communicating with vendors and team members, and willing to learn.
Key Responsibilities
Meet vendors and contractors onsite at apartment communities to walk projects and assist with obtaining bids.
Help collect, organize, and compare vendor bids.
Assist with reviewing bids to confirm they include similar scopes of work and follow up on missing details when needed.
Support the team with project scopes, schedules, change orders, and documentation.
Track basic job costs, invoices, payment status, and project records.
Take clear notes, photos, and status updates while visiting properties.
Monitor vendor progress and communicate updates to the internal team.
Follow up with vendors regarding schedules, completion dates, outstanding items, and required paperwork.
Help review completed work and document whether items appear complete or still need follow-up.
Maintain organized project files, including bids, contracts, invoices, approvals, photos, payment records, and change orders.
Assist with submitting invoices for approval and making sure backup documentation is included.
Communicate with construction, maintenance, accounting, and operations team members regarding project updates.
Support multiple projects across different apartment communities.
Travel between properties as needed to support project needs.
Qualifications
Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
Experience in construction, property management, maintenance, facilities, office administration, or project coordination is helpful but not required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to learn construction terminology, scopes of work, invoices, bids, and change orders.
Comfortable meeting vendors onsite and communicating professionally.
Ability to follow up consistently and keep accurate records.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Basic Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and general computer skills.
Ability to take clear project notes, photos, and status updates.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel between multiple apartment communities.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and eager to learn. They are comfortable working both in the field and in an office setting, can follow directions, communicate clearly, and help keep projects moving. This person should enjoy being out at properties, meeting vendors, tracking details, and supporting the construction team with day-to-day project coordination.
Work Environment
This position includes a combination of field work, office work, and administrative project support. Regular travel between apartment communities is required. The Assistant Construction Project Coordinator must be comfortable walking properties, taking photos, meeting vendors onsite, and keeping project documentation organized.
Compensation
Compensation will be based on experience. This is an entry-level to early-career position, with an expected salary range of $60,000 to $68,000 annually, depending on experience. Mileage reimbursement and company benefits may be available.
