The Work Skills Instructor teaches and coaches individuals on vocational and interpersonal skills to help them achieve employment goals. This includes delivering instruction on workplace readiness, tracking progress for IEP teams, and collaborating with employers and vocational counselors.
Candidates should have experience in workforce development, human services, or vocational training, specifically working with individuals with disabilities. Proficiency in computer systems and knowledge of adult learning principles and special education laws are required.
