Job Summary: | The Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for providing patient care under the direction of a physician or another healthcare provider. The MA/CMA works to facilitate clinic workflow, assist patients, and ensure safe, seamless delivery of care for each patient.

The HTC provides direct comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services to over 3000 adult and pediatric patients with rare chronic bleeding and clotting disorders throughout a multiple state region. The Center encompasses a freestanding School of Medicine clinic, a specialty pharmacy, research laboratories, clinical research services, professional training, patient education, and patient outreach and support programs.

Additional appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Conditions of Employment: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross healthcare provider-level CPR certification.

Anticipated Pay Range: | The starting salary range for this position has been established as:
Healthcare Technician I: $44,116 – $53,380 Healthcare Technician II: $47,813 – $57,854
The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
