The Registered Respiratory Therapist provides comprehensive respiratory assessments and management plans for patients, including the care of mechanically ventilated patients with tracheostomies. They provide 24/7 front-line therapy, perform blood gas analysis, and provide clinical leadership during Code Blue emergencies.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program with current registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario and BLS certification. 1 to 2 years of related experience and ACLS certification are preferred.

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory assessments and management plans for patients with respiratory conditions. Our RRTs are front-line healthcare providers who provide respiratory therapy service 24/7 and work within multiple interdisciplinary teams throughout the Centre.
