About the role
We have an opportunity for a Senior Policy Officer to be part of our Personal Injury Insurance Unitteam, Health, Safety & Wellbeing Command. The Senior Policy Officer is responsible for the formulation of policy advice and recommendations and manages and coordinates the development and implementation of a range of policy initiatives within the specific expertise of their functional area to contribute to the delivery of organisational and/or Government commitments.
Responsibilities:
Leading a team in the development and refinement of complex policy initiatives relating to personal injury and income protection schemes
Desired Experience:
Demonstrated experience leading comprehensive research and analysis to develop sound policy options and evidence-based recommendations.
Proven ability to provide policy advice to management and senior executive teams to support informed decision-making.
Strong capability in interpreting legislation and regulatory frameworks to inform and shape sound policy recommendations.
Exceptional communication and high-level professional writing skills.
Experience in developing policy related to personal injury or income protection schemes (preferred).
