The Responsible AI team within the Chief Data and Analytics Office aspires to enable the world’s best decision science team to engage customers by solving complex customer, product & channel problems with innovative Responsible AI solutions! We are the pioneers of leveraging data science and decisioning technology and the Group’s data to anticipate and meet our customers’ needs in an orchestrated, consistent, and meaningful manner.

As a Senior Manager in the Data Science and Responsible AI practice, you will play a pivotal role in designing development tools and resources that will help the AI developers to build, develop, deploy and maintain AI solutions safely and at speed.

 

You are passionate about all things AI and data science related and how the technology can increase the Group's competitive advantage and create value through the effective, efficient and safe use of AI.

We are seeking people who can:

• Lead with thought leadership in Generative AI model development, covering building, evaluating, and fine-tuning foundational models.
• Define and implement frameworks, governance, and tooling for AI model evaluation, validation, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with AI research teams, model risk policy and governance teams, and AI hub stakeholders to develop and refine responsible AI roadmaps.
• Work with data scientists and AI engineers to automate appropriate controls to enable rapid development and deployment of safe AI at scale.
• Represent the company’s AI research in publications, conferences, and internal events to showcase responsible AI capabilities.

 

Tech skills:

 

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know all of them.

• Expertise and deep understanding of generative AI models, machine learning, and ethical AI principles.
• Proven experience in AI model development along with solid coding skills in Python.
• Strong experience in designing and implementing AI evaluation, validation, and monitoring frameworks to define relevant open-source applications and convert them into practical capabilities that will benefit our AI developer’s community.
• Innate ability to communicate, collaborate and engage with cross-functional teams influencing AI strategies and best practices.
• Demonstrated track record of publishing AI research and presenting findings at industry events and being adept at identifying practical applications that support Group’s AI Ambitions.
• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field is encouraged.
