Property Transactions Analyst

 

Location – Parramatta hybrid

Employment type – Ongoing

Salary – GR 7/8 $ 113,574- $ 125,720 per annum plus superannuation

 

 

Your role

 

Homes NSW leads work to deliver more social and affordable housing, end the cycle of homelessness, and deliver quality public housing to our 262,000 tenants across NSW. 

 

As a single division, we are streamlining services to ensure we meet the needs of the people we support, with empathy, efficiency and effectiveness. We are elevating the voice of people with lived experience of social housing, housing services and homelessness. 

 

The Property Transactions Analyst delivers varied property transactions reports to support the asset plan objectives, annual budget, and other business strategies, and advises on technical related matters. The role delivers best value for government outcomes while supporting portfolio improvement and efficiencies. 

 

What you’ll do

 

Using your well-developed property administration skills you will enjoy a varied role which will include but not limited to:

 

  • Report and manage the property disposal and acquisitions program in line with budget and policy
  • Administer and maintain property database
  • Provide analytical support to management team to meet business strategies and objectives
  • Manage the resolution of the current Aboriginal Land Claims impacting the NSW Police Force residential portfolio.
  • Assist in optimizing the portfolio efficiencies through subdivision, redevelopment or disposal.
  • Support the management of the valuation program, implementation of rent reviews, and management of key portfolio data.
  • Assist the team with the provision of technical advice and support for property transactions.
  • Support the leadership team with existing and new projects aimed at improving portfolio performance. 

 

What we’re looking for

 

  • Relevant qualifications and/ or a combination of qualifications and relevant experience in a comparable role
  • Experience in report generation and preparation for different audiences
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 products: Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Excellent written communication skills
