Located in Newcastle, offering flexible working arrangements available with mandatory 2–3-days office presence for business requirements
Competitive salary ranges from $154,231 to $178,369 p.a. plus superannuation and annual leave loading
About the role
As the Senior Manager in a Shared Services Centre, you lead a team that delivers high-volume HR shared services across the Department, ensuring transactional HR services and support are delivered efficiently, while driving improvements to processes and service delivery to streamlined operations and positive customer outcomes.
Your responsibilities:
Monitor team activities, workload, SLA’s and customer experience and satisfaction
Analyse service data and reporting to identify trends, risk, service gaps, improvements
Collaborate and partner with a various stakeholder across the department to implement programs and initiatives
Facilitate professional development and team capability to driver a high-performing and customer-focused culture.
Provide advice, support and guidance to team members and management on complex matters.

About you
As a Senior Manager you will be a proven operational people leader with experience managing a large team within a high-volume service delivery setting. You will drive team excellence, improve performance and deliver customer-focused outcomes.
To be successful you will have:
Strong operational leadership skills, with ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and complex environment
Demonstrated experience leading change, continuous improvement and process optimisation to improve efficiency
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, to build and maintain strong relationships across a large organisation
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, to resolve issues and manage risks in a timely manner
Experience and understanding of payroll processes and pay conditions is desirable
Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, and/or demonstrated successful experience in office or organisational management in a Shared Services environment
