As a part of the restaurant leadership team, you will ensure operating systems and equipment are maintained to meet restaurant goals. This includes restaurant equipment and technology like online ordering, catering, fundraising and customer review systems.
The Shift Supervisor is responsible for using and referencing MOD tools and standards to ensure the food is safe in both Back of House and Front of House.
Listen, acknowledge, and do your best to resolve any squad member and/or guest concerns. Escalate issues that require resolution to the AM or GM as appropriate.
Manage cash within the shift in an accurate and responsible manner including making change, accessing cash in the safe, processing refunds, etc.
Take inventory and place orders as needed and supported by the GM.
Adhere to all Opening/Midday/Closing shift checklists and use all tools available to execute requirements in a timely manner.
Regularly review email to stay updated on and communicate any information from the Slice (and other relevant sources) for squad members to be effective in their roles during the shift.

When Scott and Ally Svenson founded MOD Pizza in 2008, they knew the last thing the world needed was another pizza place. In their hometown of Seattle, they imagined a new way for people to enjoy pizza, by bringing speed, individual style and value to one of America’s favorite foods. But the real secret sauce wouldn’t be the product, it would be the people who serve our communities — the MOD Squad. By taking care of employees, they would take care of the customers, and the business would take care of itself. It’s how we’ve built a culture of opportunity, belonging and community for the past 13 years, and it’s catching on wholeheartedly.
