The delivery driver is responsible for the safe operation of a box truck to transport and offload products to customers while maintaining high safety and productivity standards. They must facilitate an excellent customer experience, manage daily routes, and ensure accurate delivery of orders.
Candidates must have at least 12 months of experience operating a box truck and the ability to lift 50 pounds regularly. A clean background, a valid MVR record, and a current DOT medical card are required for the position.
General Summary:
The Delivery Driver role connects our products with our customers in a safe, courteous manner and represents the company in a positive light. Individuals in this role will be responsible for the safe operation of a 24’ or larger box truck, transporting product from our Winston-Salem location to the end user, and offloading product via hand truck into the customer’s facility. Daily routes consisting of 15-25 stops and delivery of 300-500 packages. Routes typically start in the early morning (3-6 am).
