Since then, we have worked on successive waves of technological change, including distributed computing, high-speed automation, enterprise UX and digital distribution (for which Lab49 was among the first significant practices established on Wall Street), DevOps, cloud and data science.
Today, we are an established partner in financial markets, having delivered hundreds of projects for clients including all the world’s tier-one investment banks and many of the largest buy-side firms globally.

Engineers will work in cross functional teams, consulting directly with our clients, shaping not only technical solutions to business problems but delivering them into production.
The iOS Swift Developer will play a critical role on key projects for Lab49 clients. Working in a collaborative and innovative project team, with direct client-facing interactions, you will have an opportunity to apply your skills and expertise to design innovative applications that solve complex problems and enhance performance and productivity at our marquis clients.
\nResponsibilities
Develop and maintain robust iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI/UIKit, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness.
Build and deploy cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using the Flutter framework.
Integrate and manage application deployment via Microsoft Intune, ensuring apps comply with enterprise mobility and security policies (MAM/MDM).
Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend developers to define, design, and ship new features.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM).
Perform unit and integration testing to ensure application quality and stability.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.
Required Skills And Experience
Proficiency in Swift and experience with native iOS development tools such as Xcode, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune SDK integration and configuring App Protection Policies for iOS.
Strong command of the Flutter framework and Dart programming language for building cross-platform applications.
Experience with state management solutions in Flutter (e.g., Provider, BLOC, Riverpod).
Familiarity with integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
Preferred Qualifications
A strong portfolio of released applications on the App Store.
Experience with AppConfig community standards and enterprise app distribution.
Experience with agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for mobile applications.

$140,000 - $170,000 a year
Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role and level. We are hiring across multiple levels for this job.
Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance. Salary range disclosure as required by S9427A when hiring in New York.
