Job Description
How you’ll make a difference
Deliver and check bridge and structural designs in accordance with AS 5100, Austroads, and Main Roads WA (MRWA) standards.
Prepare and review:
Design reports, calculations, and technical documentation
Construction drawings and specifications
Lead design elements across concept, preliminary, detailed and IFC stages.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including:
Geotechnical, drainage, road design, and construction advisors
Participate in design reviews, constructability assessments, and safety‑in‑design workshops.
Mentor and support graduate and mid‑level engineers.
Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and approval authorities.
Qualifications

Typically 8–12 years’ experience in bridge / heavy civil structural design.
Sound knowledge of MRWA standards and submission processes.
Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g. SpaceGass, Strand7, LUSAS, Midas).
CPEng or near‑chartered with Engineers Australia.
Strong communication skills and attention to design quality.
