The Senior Power Systems Engineer will lead and manage a portfolio of major grid connection projects, including technical oversight of power systems modelling and analysis. They are responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while driving strategic goals for the company's sustainable energy portfolio.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Electrical or Power Engineering and possess at least 10 years of experience in grid connection projects. Proficiency in industry-standard software like PSS®E, PSCAD, and DIgSILENT, along with a deep understanding of Australian grid connection processes, is required.

With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, Fyfe is expanding its Power & Connection capability and is seeking a Senior Power Systems Engineer to assist with developing our grid connection team. The senior power systems engineer is responsible for technical leadership of generator and grid connection projects including power systems modelling studies and analysis for new solar farm, wind farm, BESS and hybrid generator connections throughout Australia, using tools such as PSS®E, PSCAD and DIgSILENT PowerFactory.
This is a senior position suited to an engineer with specialist expertise in grid connection studies from concept through to execution.
You will be instrumental in delivering complex data centre, renewable energy and storage projects, advancing technical standards, and supporting the continued growth of our sustainable energy portfolio.
