The Service Technician is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to ensure the optimal performance of industrial refrigeration equipment and systems. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance. The technician will work closely with clients to resolve technical problems, provide training on equipment usage, and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and maintenance services to ensure optimal performance of industrial refrigeration equipment and systems.
Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid equipment failures and downtime.
Work closely with clients to resolve technical problems and provide training on equipment usage.
Recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
Stay updated with the latest technical advancements and industry trends.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Drive a company vehicle to customer sites to fulfill service calls.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. This involves wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established safety procedures.
Perform routine maintenance tasks on various equipment and systems. This encompasses checking, cleaning, and servicing components to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
Identify problems with equipment or systems while utilizing diagnostic tools and following systematic approaches to pinpoint issues.
Interact with customers during service calls to explain the nature of the problem, the steps being taken to fix it, and provide general maintenance advice.
Provide training and guidance to apprentices

Travel Requirements:
Must have a valid driver’s license
Anticipated 100% travel to customer sites in the region, including occasional travel out of state .
Ability to travel occasionally to attend meetings, trainings, and events.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to wear and utilize all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to and exceeding 50 pounds
Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
Bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods

Ability to move in and around confined and cluttered places and uneven areas
Adequate vision to perform all required tasks
