The technician is responsible for programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting complex fire alarm systems while coordinating with engineering and sales teams. They must ensure projects are executed on schedule, produce detailed reports, and provide technical support to customers and other staff.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and two to five years of experience in the fire-life safety industry. Proficiency in fire alarm system programming, knowledge of NFPA and building codes, and the ability to perform physical tasks like climbing ladders are required.
Sciens Building Solutions is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Systems Technician with programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting capabilities and experience. This position will work closely with our sales team, field project teams, and clients to ensure a sound design, and seamless installation and commissioning of our fire alarm solutions. This is a key position for our growing team and requires attention to detail in all aspects of executing projects. Customer and employee interface requires a high degree of effective human relations. Communication skills, both verbal and written, are important elements of the position.
