Install conduits, wiring, and controllers for Building Automation Systems while interpreting MEP plans and submittal drawings. Provide technical support to apprentices, perform system troubleshooting, and maintain accurate project documentation.
Requires a Journeyman's License in Florida or equivalent with at least 4 years of experience and a valid driver's license. Must have a high school diploma or GED and the ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Summary of Position:
This position involves the installation of conduits and wiring of devices and controllers for Building Automation Systems. The technician must be capable of reading and interpreting MEP plans & specifications, and capable of reading and interpreting BAS Submittal Drawings. We do require applicants to possess a valid driver’s license, and they must qualify to operate a company vehicle. This role will provide services primarily in the area of West Palm Beach.
Level 3 Requires minimal supervision while laying out the installation of multiple projects. Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory counts on the job site. Must be able to support apprentices' needs with the installation of electrical conduits, electrical conductors, junction boxes, and Building Automation material. The team member must also have a complete understanding of the standard processes, procedures, and products that the company invests in, while being able to troubleshoot any system issues they encounter. Additional responsibilities would be performing point-to-point checkout, completing thorough project documentation, and identifying change order opportunities. Must hold a Journeyman’s License in the State of Florida or equivalent experience. (4+ years of experience).
