The Patient Care Tech assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to meet their physical, emotional, and social needs. They also serve as a clinical preceptor, assist with unit maintenance, and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a nurse assistant course, and a nursing assistant certification. Additionally, a Basic Life Support certification and at least one year of CNA experience or status as a Certified Medical Assistant are required.

The Patient Care Tech. assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of the patient, and serves as a clinical preceptor to PCT’s and is cross-trained to Unit Associate. Assists with maintenance of a safe and clean unit environment. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Certified Medical Assistant or 1 year CNA experience.
