Join our team as a Full-Time Program Coordinator, FCC!
This position will work 8:30am - 5:00pm at our Family Care Connection in Hilltop/Mt. Oliver. Occasional weekend availability is required.
The Program Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of the program and staff in designated locations of the FCC program. They are responsible for the operations and the facility management of the center.
Primary Responsibilities:
Work Collaboratively with other community-based organizations to ensure seamless service deliver and non-duplication of services.
Attend annual Hospital and departmental fire/safety and infection control trainings and maintain current knowledge of safety procedures in the Hospital and department.
Supervise staff and/or support them in improving the health and well-being of all the children and families enrolled in the Family Care Connection Program.
Work collaborative with staff in other FCC sites as well as with other family centers; participate in meetings and events that promote the family support movement.
Analyze and prepare written reports including, but not limited to, monthly and quarterly reports for the program as well as those required by funders.
Oversee the Management Information System paperwork and analyze the productivity of the sites.
Support collaborative efforts that promote community development, promotes community programs and family assessments will determine family needs.
Ensure patient safety through following established procedures for building safety and consent and authorizations policies related to confidential information.
Train and facilitate staff by the train the trainer models for evidence based practice models for prevention programs.
Provide input to the FCC Manager relative to performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, interviewing feedback, etc. and other Human Resource concerns.
Under the direction of the FCC Manager, assist with the fiscal responsibility for the program, maintain and monitor the budget in cooperation with the Hospital.
Integrate the UPMC Community Benefit initiatives into the FCC sites.
Independently coordinates and administer the day-to-day operations of the sites in accordance with program philosophy and the policies and practices of the Hospital.
Create and maintain a welcoming center that supports families as they set and attain goals; oversee physical environment to ensure safety and security.
Perform weekly case consultations and assign new family-to-family support workers.
Initiate and participate in efforts to ensure continued, new and/or broader funding sources.
Bachelor Degree/Master Degree in Social Work,
Early Childhood Education or related field and minimum of 5 years experience.
Strong problem-solving skills with working with individuals and families respectfully from diverse backgrounds.
Experience with supervising and positively creating and uniting a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Driver's license required
CPR is required within 30 days of hire
