The Role
We’re looking for a Payroll & Benefits Administrator to support the accurate and timely delivery of payroll and employee benefits across Bureau Veritas UK&I.
You’ll work closely with HR, payroll and benefits providers to ensure data accuracy, resolve queries and deliver a high-quality employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and validate payroll data, ensuring all employee changes are accurate and submitted on time
Support monthly payroll processing, reconciliations and year-end activities (e.g. P60s)
Act as a key contact for payroll queries, resolving issues efficiently
Administer employee benefits (pensions, PMI, life assurance, EV scheme, etc.)
Process benefit joiners, leavers and changes, and liaise with providers
Maintain accurate HR, payroll and benefits data across systems
Produce reports and carry out regular data checks
Support process improvements and HR/payroll projects
About You
Experience in payroll, HR or benefits administration
Good understanding of payroll processes and UK compliance requirements
Strong Excel and systems skills (HR/payroll systems)
High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
Strong organisational and communication skills
Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential data
Desirable:
Experience with outsourced payroll providers and benefits schemes
Knowledge of pensions, auto-enrolment and salary sacrifice
Familiarity with systems such as SuccessFactors or SD Worx
CIPD (or working towards)
