The opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to progress their career to join Stone King’s highly respected Business Development & Marketing Team.
To provide hands-on support for the firm’s bids and proposals process, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality submissions. This role focuses on informal proposals, PQQs, supplier questionnaires, and maintaining bid assets, while assisting with research and coordination to improve efficiency and success rates.

Key Responsibilities
General duties include, but are not limited to:
Bid & proposal support
Prepare smaller and/or informal proposals and assist with formal bid/framework submissions.
Complete PQQs and supplier questionnaires accurately and on time.
Conduct pitch research to support tailored submissions.
Asset & document management
Maintain and update team sheets, CVs, and experience records.
Manage pitch logs, trackers, and portals for bid submissions.
Organise and maintain bid-related assets (templates, pitch materials).
Sales collateral development
Working closely with the BD team, draft and update leaflet and brochure content.
Ensure all materials adhere to brand guidelines and quality standards.
Coordination & reporting
Support the Bids & Proposals Manager with bid tracking and reporting.
Essential
Ability to deliver targeted research that strengthens proposals and submissions.
Experience in updating and maintaining key documentation, including; bid assets, templates, team sheets, and experience records, as well as managing pitch logs, trackers, and any relevant portals in an efficient manner.
Experience drafting and updating marketing material, such as brochures and leaflets, as well as understanding the brand guidelines in producing such materials.
Desirable
Familiarity with CRM or bid management tools.
Previous experience in a professional services environment or law firm.
Knowledge of industry-specific frameworks and procurement processes.
Personal Attributes
Strong organisation skills, taking full ownership of tasks and ensuring delivery within agreed deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas and influence decision-making effectively.
Adaptable approach in managing workload and supporting others.
