The Senior Specialist will support the operationalization of the AI Governance Framework and coordinate assessments across Cyber, IT, Privacy, and Legal departments. They will also maintain the AI inventory, track remediation actions, and develop governance metrics to ensure responsible AI adoption.
Candidates should have 5-7 years of experience in AI governance, risk management, or compliance with a solid understanding of AI/GenAI systems and lifecycle management. Familiarity with cloud platforms and AI-specific regulatory frameworks is required, along with strong coordination and communication skills.

The Senior Specialist, AI Governance supports the design, operationalization, and execution of Aviva Canada’s AI Governance Framework. The role plays a hands-on coordination function across all AI governance assessments, with a focus on model and non-model AI assessments, inventory oversight, and the orchestration of governance inputs from Cyber, IT, Privacy, Legal, and Procurement to enable safe, responsible, and scalable AI adoption.
