The Support Technician performs technical and clerical functions including order entry, sample processing, and point of care testing. They are responsible for reporting test results in accordance with established medical laboratory practices and CLIA guidelines.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. One year of experience in a hospital or laboratory setting is preferred, along with the ability to lift 25 pounds.
Pay range: $17.20+ per hour
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

The Support Technician performs various technical and clerical functions, under the supervision of the supervisor or designee. Duties may include: order entry, processing, testing, (including Point of Care patient testing) and reporting of waived and moderately complex kit test results as allowed by organizational and CLIA guidelines. The standard of ethical and professional performance must be consistent with established medical laboratory practice.
Prefer one year experience in a hospital or laboratory setting.
Routinely lift 25 pounds, sitting, standing for long periods of time
