We provide comprehensive services, including residential support, counseling, peer support, and community outreach, to empower individuals to overcome mental health and substance use disorders and lead fulfilling lives. Our mission is to foster a supportive environment that promotes healing and long-term recovery while upholding our humanistic, optimistic, progressive, and collaborative values rooted in integrity.
The Director of OASAS Residential Services is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing coordinated and comprehensive services that improve the quality of life for program participants. This position oversees East House’s OASAS residential programs, ensures overall program functioning, supervises assigned personnel, and supports evidence-based, therapeutic programming. The Director also contributes to strategic direction, ensures compliance with OASAS and other applicable regulations, and fosters a positive, values-based work environment.
In compliance with New York State’s Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this position is listed above. East House considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, internal peer equity, and market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. The hiring process for this position may require a criminal background check and/or motor vehicle records check. RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops and implements person-centered services aligned with best practices and individualized recovery goals.
Provides clinical and administrative oversight and participates in case reviews to ensure service quality and effectiveness.
Ensures programs operate in compliance with OASAS regulations, Medicaid requirements, certification standards, funding requirements, and East House policies.
Ensures staff are appropriately trained in evidence-based practices and continuous quality improvement.
Promotes a positive and inclusive work culture that supports staff development, accountability, and high performance.
Supervises, mentors, and evaluates direct reports and provides consultation to program managers regarding staffing and operational decisions.
Implements and monitors staff performance expectations and improvement plans.
Ensures maximum occupancy, utilization, and integration of services and assesses program performance using established benchmarks.
Oversees budgeting, resource utilization, and operational efficiency within assigned programs.
Manages crisis and behavioral risk situations and maintains appropriate staffing and safe program environments.
Represents East House in community collaborations and supports the development or redesign of services to meet emerging needs.
Supports strategic agency initiatives and serves on leadership teams as assigned.
OTHER DUTIES
Follows all applicable policies, federal and state laws, and East House compliance standards.
Collaborates with the Office of Ethics, Compliance & Quality to address noncompliance and document corrective actions.

Requirements
Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:

Valid New York State driver’s license, safe driving record, and access to a personal vehicle for work-related travel.
