Job Summary
The PSO is responsible for guarding and monitoring company grounds to prevent theft, violence, or other loss of company property.
Essential Functions
Monitors and operates complex Closed Circuit Television equipment.
Tours facility and grounds, inside and outside.
Responds to security breaches and prepares and files reports describing accidents, or intruders.
Maintains security logs.
Other Duties
Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Valid security guard license or certificate, dependent on state requirements.
Valid NYS driver’s license.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to read, write and speak the English Language.
Prepare complex written reports and documents.
Comprehend and interpret complex verbal and written documents.
Prepare legible and clear reports suitable for court purposes.
