The conductor is responsible for ensuring safe, punctual, and efficient train operations while providing high-quality service to passengers. They must also manage customer service issues, communicate with rail traffic control, and assist with emergency evacuation plans.
Candidates must hold a current and valid CROR certification and possess a valid driver's license. Strong customer service experience and the ability to meet physical fitness standards as outlined in the Canadian Railway Medical Rules Handbook are required.

We’re looking for a permanent full-time Conductor @ Vancouver, could it be you?
Since your focus as a Conductor is on safety, punctuality, and efficiency, you are accountable in ensuring that train movements are operated in a manner that will provide safe and on-time operations consistent with the objective of providing the highest quality service to the public and your passengers.
Be prepared to work in an enclosed confined area (locomotive), climbing, lifting, walking and working outside in inclement weather. Therefore, you have to be able to maintain a required level of fitness as outlined in the Canadian Railway Medical Rules Handbook.
While interacting daily with passengers, co-workers, external suppliers and management, all activities are to be performed in accordance with all rules and regulations as prescribed by legislation and ALSTOM Health & Safety policies as well as local regulations of the host railways over which the train is being operated.
