Perform comprehensive adult and pediatric polysomnographic testing and analysis. Provide patient care, education, and therapeutic interventions including CPAP and O2 titration.
Requires certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT) and BLS certification. An associate's degree is preferred.
The Sleep Technologist performs comprehensive adult and pediatric polysomnographic testing, analysis, patient care and education, and associated interventions including diagnostic and therapeutic services such as CPAP, Bi-level, ASV, and O2 titration, under the general oversight of the Lab Supervisor, Manager, Director, or designee. A Polysomnographic Technologist can also provide oversight and training of other staff.
