The driver is responsible for operating specialized transport equipment to provide on-site environmental services to customers. They must also ensure all service paperwork complies with regulations and maintain the cleanliness and safety of their assigned vehicle.
Candidates must possess a valid Class 1 Driver's License with a clean abstract and have knowledge of TDG regulations. The role requires the physical ability to perform heavy manual labor and the flexibility to work out of town for overnight trips.
We’re looking for a reliable, professional Class 1 Route Driver - Environmental Services to operate our specialized fleet (hybrid units, straight trucks, and bulk tankers) across Saskatchewan.
If you want a steady schedule, guaranteed regional miles, and a job where you get out of the cab and interact directly with customers, this is the role for you.
Follows schedules and service orders as required
Provides exceptional on-site service to customers and continuously promotes GFL’s service offerings
Completes service paperwork in accordance with GFL and TDG regulations
Operates all required transport equipment safely & ensures regular cleaning and maintenance of truck cab, components and other assigned equipment
Participates in GFL’s safety programs
Class 1 Driver’s License (or provincial equivalent) with a clean driver abstract
Ability to work independently
Physically able to perform heavy manual labor, including moving and handling heavy drums
Customer oriented
TDG knowledge and experience
Self-motivated and positive attitude
Experience working in a safety sensitive environment
Ability to work out of town and overnight trips up to three days at a time
