As a key member of the Lexus of Calgary team and reporting to the Parts Manager, the Parts Advisor will work with the parts department, representing a world-class leader in the automotive industry.
Lexus of Calgary is seeking our next great team member to join our team as a full-time Parts Advisor at our location in Calgary.
Summary:
The Parts Advisor efficiently provide parts solutions for front and back counter sales, supplying the required parts and accessories to retail and wholesale customers, receiving and storing parts, and tending to the guest with the highest level of hospitality. You should be highly organized with customer service and prioritization skills to meet the needs of guests and technician demands while maintaining an efficient and productive workflow.
Job Responsibilities:
Assists all customers (retail, wholesale, internal and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
Reviews shop estimates to ensure the ordered parts are correct and all pricing aligns with the estimate.
Pulls and fills orders from stock.
Maintains inventory as required.
Notifies the service advisor and the customer when unique ordered parts have been received.
Notifies the shop when all parts have arrived and when they will be delivered.
Pulls orders for the shop, ensuring all parts are tagged with a job number.
Follows up on back-ordered parts.
Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders.
Keeps orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates and special-order parts.
Keeps front and rear counter areas clean and uncluttered.
Participates in all training programs that are made available.
Keeps current on new products and product updates.
Maintains professional appearance.
Other tasks as assigned.
Work Environment:
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, with occasional Saturdays as required. Shift times may vary.
Qualifications:
2 years of dealership parts counter experience is an asset
PBS, Infostream and Shortel experience preferred
Experience accepting payments and completing work orders
Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively multitask
Excellent customer service skills
