The Field Inspector serves as the primary contact for contractors and municipal representatives to ensure engineering designs are implemented correctly. Responsibilities include performing field observations, preparing inspection reports, and managing contract administration and progress payments.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in civil construction inspection and a valid provincial driver's license. Knowledge of local municipal standards and the ability to be registered as a Technician or Technologist with ASET is an asset.
Position Overview:
As our Field Inspector, you will serve as the Engineer’s primary field contact, communicating with contractors, franchise utilities, municipal representatives, general public, and our clients. Your primary obligation is to ensure successful implementation of our engineering designs; ensuring construction complies with the design and municipal standards and specifications.
