At ANZ, we're shaping a world where people and communities thrive, driven by a common goal: to improve the financial wellbeing and sustainability of our millions of customers.
About the Role
Reporting to the BA Practice Lead, the Business Analyst - Digital Delivery plays a pivotal role in shaping ANZ's future digital channel experience. You'll be at the centre of the Single Customer Front End (SCFE) program, a strategic initiative designed to deliver a unified, seamless digital experience for customers across multiple channels. Working within dynamic, cross-skilled Agile squads, you'll help deliver solutions that transform how ANZ engages with its customers.
In this role, you'll act as the critical link between business and technology - translating ideas into actionable outcomes. You'll collaborate with a diverse mix of stakeholders, applying exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to build strong relationships and drive success. Your experience in both Agile and Waterfall environments will help you navigate a range of deliverables with confidence.
Role Type: 12 Months Secondment
Role Location: 839 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008
Work Hours: 40 Hours/Week
What will your day look like?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Translate strategic business needs into clear, actionable requirements by applying strong analytical thinking, commercial acumen, and customer-centric insight to support solution design and delivery.
Support end-to-end delivery while embedding governance, risk awareness, and operational controls into business analysis practices.
Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and delivery teams, using effective communication, active listening, and influence to ensure alignment, shared understanding, and successful outcomes.
Document business processes, rules, requirements, benefits, dependencies, and risks for SCFE-related initiatives.
Work closely with Product Owners, actively participate in backlog grooming, options analysis, and benefits realisation.
Produce high-quality detailed business requirements, epics, and user stories; liaise with Agile Delivery Leads to ensure end-to-end delivery by technical teams.
Collaborate with squads and other business areas to define and document success metrics and acceptance criteria for functional, non-functional, technical, and integration requirements.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Experienced as a Business Analyst supporting organisation-wide or end-to-end technology and business projects.
Experience in digital delivery programs, ideally involving customer-facing platforms or single customer view initiatives.
Strong knowledge of tools such as Atlassian Jira & Confluence, Office 365, and process modelling tools (Visio, draw.io).
Tertiary degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, Agile environment and influence outcomes across complex stakeholder groups.

We're a diverse bunch at ANZ in different roles, different locations, doing different things. That's why we have a range of flexible working arrangements, so our people can 'make work, work for them'. We also provide a range of benefits including access to health and wellbeing services and discounts on selected products and services from ANZ and more.
At ANZ, you'll be part of an organisation where the different backgrounds, perspectives and life experiences of our people are celebrated.
