The Head of Asset Engineering will provide strategic technical leadership to ensure the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of gas assets. This role involves driving asset performance through risk-based decision-making and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the engineering function.
Candidates must have extensive experience in engineering or asset-intensive environments with a proven track record in leadership and risk management. A recognised engineering degree is required, along with eligibility for RPEQ, RPEV, or CPEng accreditation.

Reporting to the General Manager Gas Operations East, we have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Asset Engineering to join our Gas East team, based in Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney.
In this critical leadership role, you'll lead the engineering function responsible for the safe, reliable and compliant operation of APA's gas assets, driving technical excellence, risk-based decision making and asset performance across the business. Working closely with operational and strategic stakeholders, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our assets while building a culture of safety, innovation and continuous improvement.
