Requires a High School Diploma and at least 5 years of relevant construction inspection experience, including ACI or ICC Concrete certifications and OSHA 10. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and additional ICC certifications are preferred.
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Building Special Inspector for our New York City, NY office. Be involved in projects with our New York Building Structure Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.
Takes part in providing inspection on projects to ensure construction compliance with plans, specifications, contract documents, and codified requirements. Tasks may include performing field inspections on various assigned construction projects of basic to moderate scale and/or complexity, which may include examining and evaluating concrete reinforcements, concrete placement, buildings structures,. Generate accurate and concise reports regarding assigned aspects of the project. Ensures that responsibilities are delivered and adhered to with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards for inspection, and safety.

Compensation:
Expected Salary (hourly): $37.00-$45.00.
