The EHS Coordinator supports environmental, health, and safety programs across two manufacturing facilities to ensure regulatory compliance and a safe workplace. Key duties include conducting safety audits, delivering employee training, and managing incident reporting and hazardous waste disposal.
Candidates should have 3+ years of safety experience in a manufacturing environment and preferably an associate degree in EHS. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and a valid driver's license are required.
The EHS Coordinator is responsible for supporting and maintaining environmental, health and safety programs within our printing and manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with operations, facilities and human resources to promote a safe workplace, maintain regulatory compliance, and support day-today EHS activities across two Rochester, NY facilities with approximately 200+ employees. The position plays an active role on the manufacturing floor, supporting safety initiatives, conducting audits and assessments, coordinating employee training and assisting with compliance related activities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Training & Education: Deliver onboarding and continuous safety education for employees.
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
