Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and a valid NYS driver's license. CPR certification is required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.

The Youth Care Professional I supports the day to day functioning of the residents by helping to create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth and safety.

May be required to physically restrain clients weighing between 50 lbs. and 300 lbs. and guide them safely to the floor. In some circumstances, restraints can last up to 15 minutes and may require repetition as necessary.
$18.50 Minimum pay rate, $24.00 Maximum pay rate, based on experience.
