Job Overview
ByteWise LLC is seeking a meticulous and highly organised Order Entry Specialist to join our team on a remote basis. This is a full-time position for candidates based in the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately processing a high volume of customer orders, ensuring data integrity, and supporting the sales and operations teams. We are looking for a proactive individual with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, independent working environment. The pay for this role is between $20 - $28 USD per hour, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
Accurately and efficiently input customer purchase orders into our internal systems.
Review all orders for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies before processing.
Verify customer information, shipping details, and pricing to prevent errors.
Communicate effectively with sales representatives and other internal departments to resolve any order discrepancies or to clarify missing information.
Maintain and update customer records and order logs with a high degree of precision.
Assist in generating order acknowledgements, invoices, and other related documentation.
Respond to internal enquiries regarding order status and tracking information.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the order entry process.
Qualifications
Proven experience in an order entry, data entry, or a similar administrative role.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Proficient typing and data entry skills.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to work independently and maintain high performance in a remote setting.
Previous experience with CRM or ERP systems is highly desirable.
Candidates must be based in the United States.
