About PointOne
PointOne is reinventing how law firms operate. We build infrastructure for the legal industry, powering timekeeping and billing systems used by law firms and government agencies.
Our AI timekeeper helps attorneys capture billable time automatically and provides rich insights that transform how legal work is managed. We're a Tier 1 venture-backed startup (Y Combinator, Bessemer, 8VC, General Catalyst) made up of engineers (Google, Applied Intuition, Jane Street) and ex-attorneys. Alongside a recent Series A round and rapid customer adoption, we're expanding our GTM team to keep up with overwhelming demand.
Who you are
You’re an ambitious, curious, and driven professional looking to start or grow your career in software sales. You’re excited by technology, energized by connecting with people, and motivated by building something new from the ground up.
You have:
1-3 years of experience in sales or a customer-facing role, preferably in enterprise or mid-market SaaS environments,
A proactive, positive attitude—you’re not afraid to cold call good leads,
Strong communication skills that resonate with both C-level executives and hands-on operators,
A desire to move into a full-cycle sales role,
(Bonus) Experience selling into professional services (legal, finance, consulting) or similarly complex verticals.
You thrive in fast-moving environments and are eager to take ownership in a tight-knit team.
Why you should join
Growth: You’ll be on the front lines of our sales effort, learning how to identify, engage, and qualify new opportunities for PointOne. You’ll gain deep exposure to legal technology, enterprise sales strategy, and the business of law while owning revenue goals and customer relationships.
Impact: You’ll play a key role in expanding our customer base and shaping how law firms discover PointOne. Every conversation you start helps transform how the legal industry operates.
Support: We’re committed to helping you succeed. Our team values openness, high feedback, and continuous learning. You’ll have direct access to founders and sales leaders to turn market research into action.
What you’ll do
Research and identify target law firm accounts,
Reach out to prospective customers through email, LinkedIn, and phone campaigns to generate qualified meetings,
Educate prospects on how PointOne can drive revenue and law firm modernization,
Represent PointOne at conferences,
Collaborate closely with the sales team to refine messaging and outreach strategies.
This is intense early-stage startup work; the person we hire is expected to step up as an owner, bring structure to ambiguity, and play a key role in forming the company’s vision and culture.
The compensation for this position is determined by multiple factors, including prior experience and expertise. Total OTE for this role is expected to be between $110-130K. A competitive equity component will also be offered as part of the package. Benefits include comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as meals in office, regular team events, and more!
