The Senior Underwriter manages underwriting agencies within an assigned territory to ensure profitable business growth and compliance with corporate standards. They collaborate with sales and support teams to develop business plans and maintain strong client relationships through regular field visits.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of commercial lines property and casualty experience with expert knowledge in various insurance coverages. A bachelor's degree is required, and professional designations such as CPCU, AU, or CIC are preferred.
The Senior Underwriter administers the underwriting agencies within their assigned territory. Completes work in compliance with company underwriting, authority, and pricing standards.
